Teen Cancer Challenge

In 2009, a Teen Cancer Challenge initiative was launched with a goal to promote cancer prevention and early detection all while promoting volunteerism and charitable giving among the student population.

Since that time, we have partnered with area high schools, provided hands-on prevention education to students and raised nearly $150,000 for local cancer services and programs. One of the earliest Teen Cancer Challenge projects was a successful campaign in 2009, which helped bring a Pediatric Oncology/Hematology Clinic to the Centers for Children in Lowell, a clinic of Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
