Give Today

We are a 100% LOCAL non-profit serving Northwest Arkansas for 30 years. We have raised and invested $15 million for Northwest Arkansas. We support local cancer programs and services provided to our family, friends and neighbors. We have provided cancer services to more than 500,000 people here in Northwest Arkansas, working to identify emerging needs for the local community.

HPV VAX FACTS

You can prevent cancers caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) by getting your child properly vaccinated. This site is intended to give you information that will be helpful in making decisions about HPV vaccinations for your children. The vaccine is safe, readily available, and very effective against many forms of cancer, but you may not have heard about it because it is not required for school attendance.

The first step is getting informed, and we’re here to help.

Testimonials

“Volunteering with the Cancer Challenge is helping to make a difference in people’s lives.  Giving back to my community is important to me.”

Jerrie

“This was my first year to volunteer.  Greatly enjoyed my experience.”

Holli

“Volunteering for the Cancer Challenge is so rewarding.  To see so many people come together to make comprehensive cancer care better for families in our two-county region is inspiring.  I’m honored to be a part of this organization.”

I am very grateful Edgewell supports this organization.  This disease declared war on my family 4 years ago.  My daughter was diagnosed with oligodendroglioma. She was 2 days away from her 30th  birthday.  Surgery removed 1/6th of her frontal cortex.  She was recently told her brain cancer has gone from grade 2 to grade 3.  A few months later my mother was diagnosed with carcinoma, last week we were told it had metastasized to her brain.  In March of 2018 my dad received his prostrate cancer diagnosis.  As a low income family we have been on the receiving end of what The Cancer Challenge is all about.  I am very blessed to work for a company that knows their support is not just checking a box, it is vital to families that are fighting this evil war against cancer.

“Outstanding experience for a GREAT cause! Volunteering to contribute to those in need in NWA has been a very rewarding experience. From the CC staff to the volunteers to the participants have been wonderful and this has been a great way to be in touch with the community.”

Ric

“Karrie had not been personally impacted by cancer when she became involved with the Cancer Challenge.  Five years ago, Cancer Challenge met with Karrie and her mom Judy and invited Karrie to volunteer with the Cancer Challenge to document events through her photography.  When asked she wasn’t sure if she had the time to put into it.  With a little nudging from Mom (Judy) Karrie took on the challenge and hasn’t looked back.  Little did Karrie know that one year later almost to the date, Karrie’s mom would be diagnosed with breast cancer and both their lives would continue to change.  Judy is now a 5X cancer SURVIVOR!”
